Aiden Lovekamp Interview: “I liked being able to be two different kids” | The Star Scoop

Aiden Lovekamp Interview: “I liked being able to be two different kids”

Aiden Lovekamp

THE STAR SCOOP:
Hi Aiden! Tell us about how you got your role as Wyatt in “Paranormal Activity 4.”

AIDEN LOVEKAMP:
I went on an Audition for what I thought was the movie “Double Decker.” They had me improve which means make up a story and I guess they thought I did really good.

THE STAR SCOOP:
Tell us more about Wyatt.

AIDEN LOVEKAMP:
Wyatt is a sweet loving little kid that has scary things happen around him when his friend Robby comes over. Wyatt thinks that it is Robby but it’s actually Toby coming to get Wyatt to turn him into a demon. Then Wyatt gets quiet when Toby takes over him.

THE STAR SCOOP:
What was your favorite part about playing this character?

AIDEN LOVEKAMP:
I liked being a nice kid that likes to ride around on his tricycle. I also liked being able to be two different kids. It was so awesome being pulled underwater for 10 minutes. It was also really cool having strong powers to rip the covers off of my sister by looking at the bed and also making her levitate over her bed.

THE STAR SCOOP:
What else should we know about “Paranormal Activity 4?”

AIDEN LOVEKAMP:
It was the best movie to work on and its really scary. I loved the directors, Rel and Henry. They became my best friends and made the movie so much fun to work on. I also became very close with Katie, Brady, Kathryn, Matt, Stephen, and Alexondra. They are like my real family and I love them all so much.

THE STAR SCOOP:
Why do you think so many people liked the movie?

AIDEN LOVEKAMP:
I think because there are a lot of funny parts but at the same time it is sooo scary.

THE STAR SCOOP:
Tell us more about scaring moviegoers with this part – it must be a lot of fun!

AIDEN LOVEKAMP:
It’s hard to make grownups get freaked out so when I see them in the movie theatre screaming and yelling, I just laugh because it’s so funny and awesome.

THE STAR SCOOP:
Do you have any other acting roles coming up or anything you would like to do next?

AIDEN LOVEKAMP:
Yes I have 2 movies coming out. One is “The Time Being” with Wes Bentley(“Hunger Games”) who plays my dad and Ahna O’Reilly (“The Help”) playing my mom. The other is “Lonely Boy” where I play a 4 year old Franky.

THE STAR SCOOP:
What else should we know about you?

AIDEN LOVEKAMP:
In the movie I might look creepy but I’m really not creepy. I like to play soccer and baseball and I love to play video games and hang out with my friends. I’m also the class clown, so I’ve been told. Hey what can I say I like to dance and make people laugh.
